What Next for the water cooler company?

We are currently looking into offering customers the facility of water testing. This can encompass various types of test including tests for Legionella or TVC (total viable count). A large number of establishments including schools, gyms and hospitals make sure that they undergo water tests on a regular basis to ensure that their water supplies are safe from both a drinking perspective, usually relating to drinking water tank systems and also from a legionella risk perspective. It is envisaged that we can add this facility to our existing portfolio of customers. Our Technical Engineers would collect the samples form the water coolers on their regular visits to customers and these samples would be sent away to the laboratories for the relevant tests to be carried out on the samples. The samples have to be submitted to the laboratories within 3 days of the sample being taken or the sample is ineffective and cannot be tested. Once the test has been carried out dependent on the results the appropriate action is undertaken which can include complete clean and sanitisation of a drinking fountain supply within a building or potentially the sanitisation of a water tank. Once the relevant corrective action has been undertaken the water supply will be fit for purpose and a certificate provided. The water will still be required to be tested moving forward on regular scheduled visits. It will be very interesting to see where we are in years to come with our growth in the water cooler field combined with internet sales. It would be very encouraging to see the company become one of the leading corporate facilities companies within the UK over the next decade.
