Harvard Professors Refute Science behind the Myth of Global Warming
Well, we’ve been saying it all along, right? But now that we’ve seen the content of the emails from East Anglia, we know now that the government teat-suckers in warmist academia really are scientists after all. Turns out that they are aware that climate fchanges are caused not by SUVs and lightbulbs, but by changes in solar activity! Ya think so? Seems their real challenge has been figuring out how to hide this fact from us poor knuckle draggers who never did believe in the myth of global warming. In 2003, Sallie Baliunas and Willie Soon (who are Harvard-Smithsonian professors) published a peer-reviewed (yes, libs, I said “peer-reviewed”!) paper in Climate Research, the scientific journal, which stated that solar activity was the major influence on Earth’s climate. Ya think?!
They also said that the last century was not the warmest century in the past 1000 years. In fact, it wastn’ the century with the most extreme weather either! Soon and Baliumnas studied over 200 sources of research data to arrive at their conclusion. Their paper examined climate changes and specifically observed how they coincided or correlated with changes in solar activity. One of the more interesting associations referred to in the paper is the not so coincidental, well-documented Little Ice Age with a solar quiet period This was known as the Maunder Minimum, from 1300 to 1900 A.D. The two scientists submitted that the lack of solar activity is what caused the cooler temps around the planet during this time. The evidence they put together also implied that as the sun became even more active, the Earth’s temperatures began to rise bringing about the ending of Little Ice Age. Who knew? Sun makes things hotter?!
